Is the LifeSmart Smart Station required to use your Smart Home Wi-Fi Camera?
The LifeSmart Smart Home Wi-Fi Camera can work separately without the LifeSmart Smart Station. Without the Smart Station you can access the view and record features of the camera, but you cannot work with sensors and other devices.
Can Smart Camera be added into several LifeSmart account?
One Smart Camera can only be added into a single LifeSmart account, the other accounts can access the camera after becoming a network member of the main account.
Why is the indicator light always blinking after the configuration?
It indicates that the camera is not connected to the Internet server correctly. Check whether the camera can be found in the local smart device. If not, maybe the wrong Wi-Fi password was set to the camera, or there is some limitation in the router; If the camera can be searched in the local network, try to enter it and do a software upgrade for this smart device.
Why does the Smart Camera lose connection sometimes?
Because the smart camera connects to Internet via Wi-Fi, it loses connection if the Wi-Fi network is unstable.
Why does the smart camera video sometimes switch to black and white picture?
The Smart Camera with infrared night vision and it will automatically detect the brightness of the environment. When the lighting is low the camera will automatically enter into the infrared night vision mode and you will see the black and white picture.
How to enable the camera recording?
Smart Camera supports video recording onto the MicroSD card. After the MicroSD card is inserted, restart the camera. Enter the setting page of smart camera, format the MicrosSD card first, and afterward then switch on "Record on MicroSD card" in MicroSD Record Settings menu. Switch on "Only When Motion Detected" or choose full time recording, and select the "Bit Rate" as you like.
The record file will be generated every 5 minutes, the earliest file will be removed if the card is full.
Where can we find the snapshot?
Snapshot by hand is saved into the album of the mobile device by default. The pictures created by triggers are saved in the App, and they can only be viewed in the App or saved to the photo album in the mobile device.
Why can I not view the image while the camera is panning?
Check whether you have set your camera password in the local smart device. If so, the same password must be set for the system through the Smart Station as well. Enter the camera setting page and detail information then set the correct password and submit it.
Can several Smart Cameras be added into LifeSmart Smart system?
There is no limitation for it in LifeSmart Smart system, while Smart Camera connects network via Wi-Fi and the capacity of router needs be considered.
Is Smart Camera safe? Can anybody else access my camera?
Yes, it is. The access privilege of the camera is only granted to the account which owns the device, any others can not view unless they has your account and password.
