Start using the app!
You are now ready to use the app and take advantage of all the smart functions!
You will find four different tabs, "Right now", "Trend", "History" and "Reports". Each category contains smart functions that will help you to get a good overview over your energy consumption easily.
In the"Right Now" tab you are able to see your instantaneous consumption. The value in the middle of the circle represents the number of Watts used right now. The circle around the value represents how your instantaneous consumption is corresponding to your maximum and minimun consumption during the last 24 hours.
The right now value updates every 15 seconds. This makes it possible for you to notice diffrences in consumption when turning on/off appliences in your home.
Last 5 minutes & last 12 hours
There are three buttons at the bottom of the page, "Right Now", "Last 5 min" and "Last 12 h". If you click on "Last 5 min" you will see a graph over your consumption the last 5 minutes. This is a perfect way of detecting how the consumption changes when turning on/off appliences. If you choose to press "Last 12 h" instead, you will see a clock which shows you how the consumption has changed during the last 12 hours.
In this tab you are able to see diffrent trends in your energy consumption. You could for example see how much energy you consumed today, this week or this month in proportion to yesterday, the previous week or the previous month.
The grey circle represents the previous consumption period. It shows you how much energy has been consumed during the same period on the previous day or in the week/month before.
By pressing the different circles you will see how your consumption looks compared to the previous period. You could also see how many percentages less or more you have consumed compared to it.
In this view you can see how your energy consumption looks over time. The first view shows in detail your consumption during the day. You are able to change between days by scrolling horizontally to the right or left. In this way you know how your consumption has changed.
The purple line corresponds to the indoor temperature and the blue line to the outside temperature.
You can change the scale of the graph by dragging your finger up and down. You could also zoom by dragging two fingers apart or together.
On the bottom of the page you can choose between "Detail", "Day", "Month" and "Year". In the picture below we show the "Month"-view and you would be able to scroll back in time to see your consumption over the past periods.
In this view it is also possible to see how much the heating affects your energy consumption. To do this, you must first activate "Plus" services which is done by pressing "Plus" in the menu to the left.
Eliq creates a report at the end of each month. The report sums up the consumed energy, cost and even the changes to the previous month are displayed. You find all the historical reports under the tab "Reports". Click into one of them to retrieve more information about the month.
In the image to the right how a part of the report looks like. If you scroll further down you find more interesting information, such as comparing with similar households and what appliances use the most energy.
Activate monitors in Eliq and get notifications to your phone when your limits exceed. For example, you can monitor the cost, the max-consumption, the temperature, etc.
Click on each monitor you created and see how your values relate to your limits (right image above). The circle will change to red if your values exceed your limits and you will get a notification sent to your mobile (max. once per hour).
When pressing the three lines in the top-left corner a menu will appear. The menu contains a few different alternatives:
- News Feed: Explained below
- Explore: Explained above
- Monitor: Explained above
- Settings: Change your settings, such as name of your location, enter tariff or language
- Log out: Log out from your account
Find all your notifications and reports in the "News feed". You can reach this by either going through the "Menu" or pressing the button in the top-right corner.
